Director at NAVIOCOM Georgia responsible for assisting with the
management control and execution of financial and resource related
functions. This position is located in Fort Gordon, GA of NAVY INFO
OPERATIONS CMD GEORGIA.Learn more about this agencyResponsibilities
You will assist with account maintenance and accounting support
work requiring a basic understanding of accounting systems,
policies, and procedures to examine, verify, maintain, and
reconcile accounts and accounting data.
You will provide technical support for the receipt,
disbursement, examination, deposit and custody of cash items
which includes handling cash items or use of cash accountability
control methods.
You will examine documents for accuracy, adequacy of
documentation, compliance with regulations for goods and
services provided to or by the Government.
You will determine pay, payroll records maintenance and
completion of reports pertaining to civilian employees of the
Federal Government.
You will perform technician work in support of budget analysis
and administration such as maintain ledgers, budget formulation,
compiling, consolidating, checking and arranging funding data.

You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and

This position requires a periodic polygraph examination.
Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of
retired military members within 180 days immediately following
retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the
provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
This is a Financial Management Level 1 certified position per
the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section
1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines.
Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized
experience at or equivalent to the GS/GG-08 level in the Federal
Service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector
performing duties such as:
1) Analyzing non-standard resource related processes to provide
briefings to key personnel, senior planners and consultants;
2) Examining documents for accuracy, adequacy of documentation,
compliance with regulations for goods and services provided;
3) Providing routine direction to senior leadership and
personnel regarding financial procedural and technical
