Looking for local person in Columbus who is dependable with a flexible schedule. Having your own transportation and vehicle or trailer to haul away trash is necessary as well as a lawn mower. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Great phone/text/email communication skills are a must! Maintenance and lawn experience preferred. Job requires about 10 hours per month. Occasionally more.
Description of work needed:
This person will be on call for requested tasks from management like checking newly vacated units to ensure they are clean and ready to be rented, add/remove locks where needed, minor repairs, & meet with contractors if needed. Expect to be at the facility at least once weekly. Each trip to the facility contractor will be expected to inspect property grounds and gate for quality. Once a month caretaker will conduct a property audit with supervisor. While you do this walk through you must keep your eyes open for any issues you might see that would require maintenance such as trash that needs to be picked up or issues with the fence and gate. If a repair is beyond your abilities you may find a vendor and get a bid. Management will approve all bids and will pay the vendor once you have inspected the completed work.
Lawn care and minor landscaping will need to be done every other week during spring/summer months.
This will be an Independent Contractor. A W9 will need to be completed before starting.
