Job Description:
We are a growing home renovation company looking for reliable and hardworking day laborers to join our team. The ideal candidates will assist with various home improvement projects, including handyman projects, painting, flooring, cleaning, and general home maintenance. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and are looking to gain experience in the renovation and remodeling industry.
Responsibilities:
Assist with interior and exterior painting projects (prepping surfaces, applying paint, touch-ups).
Subfloor repairs
Support flooring installation, including LVP, hardwood, tile, laminate, and carpet (removing old flooring, laying new materials, cutting materials to fit).
Perform general home maintenance tasks such as drywall repair, minor plumbing fixes, and light carpentry.
Help with the clean-up of job sites, including the disposal of materials and ensuring work areas are kept tidy.
Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
Assist with loading and unloading materials and supplies.
Requirements:
Must be reliable
Prior experience in painting, flooring, or general home maintenance is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks.
Reliable transportation to travel to different job sites.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.
Flexibility with work hours, including occasional weekends or overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in painting, flooring, and home maintenance.
Previous experience in construction, renovation, or a similar field.
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different types of tasks.
