JOB DESCRIPTION
Job involves traveling to National Parks for approximately for one to two months at a time and spending three to four months in an office/home creating written reviews accompanied by photographs based on personal experiences. When the content has been completed, the team heads out on another one-month trip. A year typically would be comprised of three months of traveling and nine months of content creation.
Update reviews and content based on park changes in policy, fees, and operating hours.

QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent writing skills
Working knowledge of photography
Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
Working knowledge of Word Press
Excellent physical fitness. When traveling, job require my require hiking up to 20 miles a day, paddling up to 20 miles a day, or biking up to 40 miles a day.
Willingness to tent camp for one or more months at a time
Ability to get the job done regardless of adverse environmental circumstances
Authorized to work in the United States
EDUCATION
No formal education is required as long as employee can do the work. However, undergraduate degrees in Journalism, English, or History can be most beneficial. Excellent writing skills and the ability to take a good photograph are mandatory. All other required skills can be taught and/or learned on the job.
PAY
$40,000 per year
Medical insurance
40% commission on revenue generated from photos you take while you are employed by National Park Planner. This is not a lifetime royalty.
