Job Overview:
We are running an OWNER & OPERATOR SPECIAL! We are looking for dedicated and skilled Truck Drivers and OWNER/OPERATORS to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle different types of trucks, box trucks, reefers, flatbeds, dry vans, and tractor-trailers.
Duties
Operate various types of trucks including flatbed, and/or roll-off trucks.
Ensure the safe loading and unloading of freight while adhering to all safety regulations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
Navigate routes efficiently while complying with traffic laws and regulations.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
Drive manual transmission vehicles as needed.
Experience:
Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Familiarity with operating various truck types including tractor-trailers and forklifts is preferred.
Experience in handling freight safely and efficiently.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
