Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced window installation crew to replace & trim 36 windows in a residential home located in Duluth, GA. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable, professional contractor /crew with a proven track record in window replacement. We are looking for high-quality work that meets industry standards and demonstrates attention to detail. The project must be completed efficiently and within a timely manner.
Job Responsibilities:
Window Removal: Safely remove the existing windows and dispose of old frames and glass.
Window Installation: Install 36 replacement windows according to manufacturer specifications and industry best practices. Ensure proper alignment, insulation, and sealing to maximize energy efficiency.
Trim and Sill Installation: Install window trim, sills, and molding as per project requirements. Ensure a smooth, aesthetically pleasing finish.
Weatherproofing: Apply weatherstripping, caulk, or spray foam to ensure air-tight, water-tight installations.
Wood Rot Repair: Identify and fix any rotting wood around the window frame or trim before installation.
Clean-up: Remove all debris, dispose of old windows, and clean the installation area to leave the home neat and tidy.
Inspection and Adjustment: Double-check each window for proper functionality, ensuring smooth operation and secure sealing.
Job Requirements:
Experience: Proven experience in window installation (replacement or new construction). References and a portfolio of past projects are highly preferred.
Tools & Equipment: Must provide your own tools, including a power drill, level, caulking gun, measuring tape, and materials for weatherproofing and trim installation.
Reliable & Timely: Must be dependable, punctual, and able to meet deadlines while working independently.
License & Insurance: Must be licensed and insured to work in Georgia. Proof of insurance and references are required.
Compensation:
Payment: Payments will be made upon completion of the entire project milestone, with final payment upon project completion.
Total Estimated Pay: $5,200 for the entire job.
