This role will perform tasks involving setting forms, preparing subgrades, setting and tying steel rebar, placing wet concrete and properly finishing the concrete as required by the project, operating a variety of hand and power tools, cleaning and preparing job sites, stripping and maintaining concrete forms, and cleaning up rubble and debris.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set concrete forms.
- Properly use tools needed to finish concrete. Tools may include shovels, trowels, floats, bull floats, brooms, rakes, screeds, etc.
- Shovel concrete, finish concrete, and generally assist in placing concrete as directed.
- Prepare subgrade to final grade required by project specifications.
- Assist in moving, erecting, and stripping various form work.
- Ability to be flexible with schedule changes, location changes, time of shift changes. Overtime work required. Out of town/county work may be required.
- Ability to adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety policy and maintain individual PPE in a functional condition.
- Operating equipment such as skid steer loaders, etc.
Previous construction experience required. Previous experience working with concrete desired.
Language: Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday
