Rubicon Global Holdings, LLC seeks a Senior Database Engineer in Atlanta, Georgia.
Responsibilities: The Senior Database Engineer is responsible for maintaining the technical integrity of Rubicon’s existing technologies, software systems, databases, and platforms to permit ongoing production activities, strengthen Rubicon’s development activities and expand its product offerings and ability to deliver millions of orders annually. Duties include: Designing, developing and coding software specifications and database architectures utilizing various web-based and application programming interfaces; collaborate with Software Engineering and Data Engineering teams to collect and analyze incoming data, design new features, determine requirements, and participate in team meetings; testing and troubleshooting existing systems, analyzing collected data, and resolving bug issues within existing technologies and infrastructures; reviewing, modifying, and updating existing software; providing technical support and maintenance to software systems, databases, and platforms; researching new technologies and methodologies, as well as researching database and platform inquiries, problem solving and planning; and other duties as assigned. Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental U.S. but will report to Rubicon’s headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. Salary range: $83,000 - $103,000.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field (or foreign equivalent).
Requirements: 2 years of experience in the job offered or related. Other special requirements include: 2 years of experience in development languages, including SQL languages, JavaScript, or Python; 2 years of experience in relational database design and tuning; 2 years of experience in supporting databases in cloud environments, like AWS or Azure; and 2 years of experience in using reporting tools like Microsoft Power BI/Foundry to manage datasets.
