Network Support Engineer Tier III Atlanta - GA (Onsite Day 1) Contract Job Summary/Responsibilities
- This position is responsible for designing, installing, maintaining and supporting LAN, WLAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, switching, routing, firewalls, VPNs, QoS, and VoIP including installation and maintenance of hardware, software, troubleshooting and security.
- The Network Support Engineer provides high-level technical support for voice and data network systems, creates, and maintains network documentation, maintains hardware and software standards, and leads projects as needed to upgrade to new and/or improved equipment software, hardware and procedures.
- The Network Support Engineer will be well versed with the advanced engineering and administration of multiprotocol routers, multilayer switches, network security devices and network management systems. This position requires excellent troubleshooting, problem management and customer service skills The top Must Haves for this role Cisco or Palo Alto certification Networking ITSM
- Lift and move objects up to 50 pounds
- Experience working in data center environment
- BGP Configuration & MPLS
- Able to work after hours in some instances
- Familiar with Change management process
- Write change tickets and attend CAB (change advisory board)
- Experience with Palo alto firewalls Required Skills Networking Network certification is highly preferred (Cisco, Palo Alto, or Fortinet)
