Job Description:
We are looking for a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Cashier to join our team at a COAM (Coin Operated Amusement Machines) store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing cash transactions, assisting a diverse customer base, and supporting daily front-end operations. This is a customer-facing role that requires professionalism, attention to detail, and a helpful attitude.
Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required. This is a key part of the role, as you will be regularly interacting with Spanish-speaking customers.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service in both English and Spanish
Process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately
Monitor and report on machine usage and customer activity
Maintain a clean and organized cashier area
Count cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
Handle pay-outs and reconcile transaction logs
Assist with light administrative tasks or reporting as needed
Uphold company policies and contribute to a safe, friendly store environment
Requirements:
Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
Prior experience in retail, cashiering, or customer service preferred
Strong math and money-handling skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to sit for extended periods
Comfortable working in a gaming or amusement store environment
Must be 18 years or older (due to COAM regulatory requirements)
High school diploma or equivalent
