Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Loan Processor to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the processing and closing of loans, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
Pay and Compensation:
- Hourly Pay starting at $20
- Mandatory 90-day probationary period
Responsibilities:
- Review loan applications for completeness and accuracy
- Support the Senior Loan Processor in all loan processing tasks
- Work closely with loan officers, escrow, title, underwriters, and lender account executives
- Daily tasks include but are not limited to organizing loan documents, updating loan notes, submitting loan files, preparing initial disclosures, ordering documents, and data entry
Experience:
- One year of mortgage/real estate related processing or transaction coordinator experience
- Knowledge of escrow, contracts, and loan processing procedures
- Familiarity with underwriting processes and credit analysis
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat/PDF Editor
- Great communication skills via email and verbally by phone
- Able to work and adapt well in collaborative, fast-paced environments
- College/university graduate and/or bilingual preferred
