Office & Scheduling Assistant will support daily operations by answering phones, managing caregiver schedules, inputting data accurately, and assisting with the flow of information across departments. This person must be able to learn quickly, comprehend procedures, and retain and relay information accurately. A clear understanding of the workflow within a private home healthcare agency is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
Assist with daily caregiver scheduling and shift adjustments
Input and update client and caregiver information accurately in the system
Communicate effectively with caregivers, clients, and office staff
Follow up on call-outs and coordinate shift coverage
Assist with onboarding tasks and documentation
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive client information securely
Support the care coordination team with administrative tasks as needed
Understand and follow the agency’s policies and procedures
Demonstrate initiative and a willingness to learn and adapt
