Applied Resource Group is currently seeking a Cisco ISE Engineer to join one of our large enterprise clients specializing in engineered building solutions. Our client is looking to hire for a fulltime role. This Cisco ISE Engineer will be responsible for providing expertise in the planning, design, deployment, and continued support of mission critical projects associated with the Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) solution. The Cisco ISE SME will need to operate in a Cisco-heavy network environment including other associated technologies such as Cisco DNA Center, Cisco Prime, Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Nexus, Cisco ASA, Cisco ACI, Cisco Meraki, and SDWAN technologies, as well as VMWare, Linux, Windows Server, physical Servers, and enterprise storage arrays.

Responsibilities:
  • Advanced knowledge of ISE enterprise administration technologies such as RADIUS, AAA, profiling, TACACS, policy development, posturing, guest services, certificate provisioning, persona management, and NAD management.
  • Examples of the administrative responsibilities for the ISE Enterprise Network Engineers include, but are not limited to, the following:
    • Collaboration - Participate in meetings to understand and recommend the best technical, most cost-effective solutions
    • Change Control - Adhere to and follow all change management policies to ensure functional tasks meet organizational requirements and are well documented.
    • Documentation - Document administrative items, projects, and support issues as needed to provide a reference for team members, other departments, and management staff.
    • Incident and Request Management - Manage support requests and unexpected incidents in accordance with organizational requirements
    • Knowledge Sharing - Both technical and non-technical knowledge transfer is expected among team members to improve overall capabilities.
    • Personal Development - Employees are expected to seek professional development (both technical and non-technical) in those areas relevant to their current role within the organization.
    • Project Support and Lead – Be willing to serve as either a project leader or as a technical resource in the development, deployment and/or sustainment of an enterprise-level initiative.
    • Status Reports - Engineers will be responsible for the delivery of accurate, timely status reports - both verbal and written - as requested by team managers.

Knowledge and Skills Required:
  • Experience managing platforms including the Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches in a production environment.
  • Experience managing technology-related projects, with a preference toward the design, deployment, and support of the Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).
  • Working knowledge of virtualization platforms including VMWare, Hyper-V, and Citrix as well as Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Technical writing skills, as appropriate.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education and Experience Required:
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems Information Technology OR 7 years equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 7 years experience supporting network operations at an enterprise-level to include wired and wireless environments
  • Minimum of 5 years experience managing network security solutions to include firewall technologies, virtual private networks, content filtering, or similar.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in deploying and/or supporting the Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) platform.
  • Experience supporting route/switch infrastructures, load balancing, virtual infrastructure technologies, DNS, and PKI environments.
  • Experience working in or with manufacturing.
  • SSCP, CISSP, CCNA and/or CCNP • Preference toward CCNA-Security and/or CCNP-Security
