Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Part-Time Marketing Assistant to support our marketing efforts and enhance member engagement. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of social media platforms, and experience in graphic design using tools like Canva. This role is integral to our outreach, event promotion, and business development strategies.
Responsibilities:
Member Outreach:
→ Make calls to invite group members to upcoming events and encourage participation.
→ Call to schedule networking and discovery meetings with potential members or partners.
→ Follow up with leads and ensure all scheduled meetings are confirmed.
Email Marketing:
→ Create and distribute weekly eblasts to members and prospects.
→ Assist in drafting content for emails and ensuring accuracy before distribution.
Social Media Management:
→ Send connection requests to relevant individuals and businesses on social media platforms.
→ Post engaging content on social media platforms to promote events, membership, and initiatives.
→Utilize Canva to create visually appealing posts and graphics for social media.
Database Management:
→ Add and maintain business contacts in our database.
→ Ensure accurate record-keeping of interactions and leads for follow-up.
Research and Applications:
→ Conduct research to identify potential business contacts and new partnership opportunities.
→ Submit speaker request applications and follow up on status.
Requirements:
→ Proficient in Canva or similar design tools.
→ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
→ Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
→ Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
→ Comfortable with phone calls and building relationships.
→ Experience with email marketing tools (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, etc.) is a plus.
→ Basic understanding of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) and their professional uses.
→ Ability to work in-office in Roswell, Georgia.
Schedule:
25 hours per week.
Flexible hours within business hours, Monday through Friday.
Compensation:
$17.50 per hour.
