Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the vending machine business, ensuring machines are fully stocked, well-maintained, and generating optimal revenue. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset to manage existing locations while identifying new opportunities for growth.
Qualifications and Requirements
Valid driver's license with a clean record (company vehicle may be provided)
Ability to lift 25-40 lbs (for stocking heavy items)
Basic mechanical skills for minor vending repairs
Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
Previous experience in vending, stocking, or delivery is a plus but not required
Compensation Structure:
Base Salary
o Amount: $20 per hour, we estimate 25-30 hours per week starting out, this will increase as we add locations to the business
o Frequency: Paid bi-weekly via direct deposit
Growth-Based Incentives (Can likely be paid in cash)
o Drink & Snack Vending Location: Each location secured for snack and drink vending service will be rewarded with a $1,000 bonus, $500 upon placing the machines and an additional $500 2 months later once the location is verified as a worthwhile spot (locations should be agreed upon prior to placing a machine)
Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
o Monitor stock levels in all machines using remote telemetry (this is done on your phone through an application called Nayax)
o Replenish inventory on schedule to ensure machines are consistently stocked
o Purchase additional Inventory when needed
Route Management:
o Plan efficient routes to service machines, minimizing travel time and fuel costs
Machine Maintenance:
o Handle minor repairs and ensure machines are operational
o Escalate complex maintenance issues to third-party technicians if needed
Existing Business Growth:
o Collect and account for cash/card sales from machines
o Analyze sales data to identify trends and adjust inventory accordingly
o Provide regular updates on business performance and discuss ways to ensure continued improvement
Customer and Vendor Relations:
o Maintain good relationships with location owners (e.g., warehouse, bars, office managers)
o Negotiate location agreements to secure new vending spots or improve terms at current locations (we do not offer profit splits for food or snack vending but do for vape vending)
Business Growth:
o Identify new high-traffic locations and negotiate placement of additional machines
o Suggest new products or services to increase revenue (e.g., ice vending machines)
Day-to-Day Activities:
Restocking locations 2-3 times weekly (depending on location needs)
Collecting and reconciling revenue from cash and card payments
Inspecting and cleaning machines during servicing
Managing inventory and placing orders with suppliers
Reviewing sales and inventory reports to adjust stocking patterns
