We're looking for strong event help. Emphasis on strong as this person will be our dedicated helper to move furniture and conference materials around during our 2 day mini conference. We may need help grabbing coffee, or printing badges, refreshing a breakout room too or any slew of random tasks that come with running a mini conference.
There will be moments where you can take a break away from the event and watch your phone for 5-10 minutes but then back ready to go for go time with a can do attitude and energy to help in any way possible.
Our attendees mean the world to us, so we won't just let anyone help us.
This person would show up in business casual clothes like working slacks and a polo but be comfortable enough to move around and lift objects and furniture as needed. Hair should be tamed and without attention grabbing styling or colors as this person needs to be almost unnoticed by attendees. In that same thought, attendees shouldn't notice this person by their scent either so no strong odors or perfumes.
You may be offering assistance to help our attendees find the right breakout room, or bathroom, or where lunch is so friendly attitude and English speaking are a must. Customer service experience is preferred.
We're offering $20 per hour for 9-9.5 hours of work per day and would need help onsite at our event venue located in the Battery on Saturday 4/13/24 8:00am to 6:00pm and Sunday 4/14/24 8:30am - 6:30pm. We'd prefer to have two people helping us for each of these days.
We also will need help on Monday April 15th in Marietta as we're taking our group to a mansion we've rented but it requires some set up. Hours for this would be 8:00am to 5:00pm. We likely only need one person this day.
We'll ensure you can take a decent lunch break each day as well.
