Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the overall appearance and health of lawns and landscapes for our clients. The role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform routine lawn maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and weeding.
2. Plant flowers, shrubs, trees, and other plants as needed.
3. Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other lawn care products in accordance with safety guidelines.
4. Operate and maintain lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
5. Identify and address lawn diseases, pests, and other issues affecting plant health.
6. Keep records of work performed, materials used, and customer preferences.
7. Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their needs and expectations are met.
8. Work independently or as part of a team to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
9. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in lawn maintenance or landscaping.
2. Knowledge of plant care and lawn equipment operation.
3. Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
4. Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
5. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
6. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
7. High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
1. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
2. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods of time.
3. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
