NorthPoint Office Furniture is seeking a new employee for office furniture assembly and delivery.
Requirements:
- Driver's License: As a delivery driver you will need a valid driver's license and must be able to get on the company's insurance.
- Attendance: This is a 8:00-4:00 job, it is important to have reliable transportation and be on time. Deliveries are scheduled ahead of time and cannot be constantly changed.
- Appearance: You will be required to wear a company shirt. Be clean and tidy. No torn jeans, no clothing with excessive/offensive messaging on it.
- Good physical health: you must be able to lift 80lbs, this is a physically demanding job as you may encounter upstairs deliveries. There are heavy objects that need moving on a daily basis.
- Behavior: Be respectful to customers and other employees, follow directions, keep the workplace tidy. Constant phone calls and texting is not allowed, limit those to your breaks.
- Payroll: Must be able to get on our payroll, we use the ADP app to track work hours.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience driving a box truck
- Furniture assembly
- General knowledge of hand/power tools
This is a full time position; however if you can set a specific schedule we may consider a part-time hire as well.
