- $120,000 + 25% bonus
- Strategic procurement initiative execution utilizes understanding of complex business strategy to follow-through with detailed contract negotiations in consideration to requirements of the business user and relevant parties.
- Connects and cultivates professional relationships and partnerships with functional team members throughout organization, gathers feedback based on negotiations and utilizes feedback to further pursue vendor opportunities and constantly changing business needs.
- Organizes structural engagement of valuable stakeholders in sourcing development and execution; consults with Vice President on any discrepancies between stakeholder requirements and contract management strategy.
- Constructs detailed, strategic market research.
- Defines strategies for assigned vendors; translates improvement objectives regarding experiences and savings into viable category plans; works with VP to define the sourcing strategy to follow including suppliers list and the criticality for materials and services.
- Leads the execution of negotiation strategies for non-IT categories and negotiation strategies including development and execution of RFI's and RFP's, documents bid events through correspondence to suppliers; develops selection criteria and drives the selection of suppliers in collaboration with a cross-functional team; conducts supplier negotiations; collaborates with Legal to establish contracts, and performs critical tactical activities as needed including contract management and implementing improvement plans
- Uses procurement tools and systems to create operational efficiency and visibility across the enterprise; identifies and pursues ad hoc opportunities to reduce product/service costs.
- Monitors on-going vendor relationships and supplier performance across their portfolio; supports regular supplier meetings and implements improvement projects with suppliers.
- Contributes to tracking and analytics for assigned vendor areas; tracks compliance and develops leakage reports; supports formal management reporting to senior management.
- Manages medium complexity negotiations with suppliers that require a detailed strategic plan and have a correlation with Kindred at Home's operational needs and goals.
- Plans, develops and implements vendor plans, including long-range objectives, performance goals and metrics.
- 4 years of procurement experience in relevant spend category, preferably in healthcare sector. (Group Purchasing Organization)
- Contract negotiation, contract management experience
- Vendor sourcing
- Category Management experience with 3 years of negotiation & spend experience more than $50 mill.
- Bachelor's degree in Business/Supply Chain &/or related; Master's degree is highly preferred
- CPM/CPSM Cert. highly-desired
