Job Description:
We are looking for friendly and enthusiastic part-time baristas to join our team. The ideal candidate will be someone who loves coffee, enjoys engaging with customers, and has a passion for books and gifts.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and other beverages.
- Assist customers with their orders and provide recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and seating areas.
- Manage transactions using the cash register and handle cash accurately.
- Restock supplies and maintain inventory levels.
- Help with book and gift store tasks, including shelving books and arranging displays.
- Create a warm and inviting atmosphere for all customers.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
-Must be able to stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
-Must be able to lift and carry 25lbs.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- A passion for coffee, books, and gifts is a plus!
