Line/Prep Cook

MetroFresh in Midtown Atlanta is looking for a new line cook for our dinner service. While we are mostly known for daily changing menu of prepared soups and salads for lunch, the fast-casual restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week. Nighttime at MetroFresh is a mix of casual diners on their way home from the gym or work grabbing dinner to go, regulars who enjoy a relaxed cocktail or a glass of wine with a well-prepared entrée, and families who are looking for a quick and affordable early night out with the kids. The menu is spontaneous and creative – the epitome of farm-to-table. We need a self-motivated cook who is comfortable working alone in the kitchen as they execute a simple and delicious bistro menu that changes frequently and includes tastes from all over the world. The job will also include some prep for our daily menu when needed, creating grab and go prepared entrees, as well as sweets and pastries for the dessert case. This is a perfect position for someone looking to explore their own creativity while they implement the vision of the executive chef and owner, Mitchell Anderson. The kitchen is staffed by talented people who have worked together for much of the almost 19 years we’ve been open. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, a sense of purpose and humility who will become part of our team.
