This is a unique opportunity to drive growth, shape our North American sales strategy, and make a significant impact in a rapidly evolving industry.About the position:As the Vice President, NAM Sales, you will play a key role in expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth by developing and executing the sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and drive market expansion. You will lead a high-performing team and work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to identify, negotiate, and close opportunities that align with our business objectives and growth strategies.Role/Responsibilities: Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with Mastercard Identity’s goals and objectives, with a focus on revenue growth and market expansion. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, coach and motivate the sales team, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, continuous improvement and excellence. Revenue Growth: Drive sales efforts to meet or exceed revenue targets, identifying new opportunities and markets for growth. Retain, Expand and Grow: Foster strong, collaborative relationships with existing clients to ensure revenue retention and growth, and cultivate new relationships to create long-term value for the organization. Negotiation and Deal Structuring: Lead negotiations, deal structuring, and contract development to establish mutually beneficial client relationships that drive revenue, market share, and brand recognition. Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the company's solutions to effectively communicate their value to customers. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product development, legal, C&I and Mastercard at large to ensure seamless client journeys. Market and Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats. Performance Metrics: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of the North American sales team. Manage regional pipeline and forecast reporting and track progress through the sales cycle. Budget Management: Manage and allocate resources effectively to maximize the ROI of sales initiatives.All about you: Ability to build, lead and inspire high-performing and cross-functional teams. Proven track record of enterprise sales experience with success in closing high-value deals and expanding market share. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred. Strong understanding of the global Identity ecosystem and market dynamics, as well as a strong personal network within applicable industries Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Analytical, growth mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions. International experience and a global network of industry contacts preferred. Strategic, innovative thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans, and a passion for driving growth. In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
