Position Description />Performs general clerical and reception duties according to the needs of the patient, unit, or department, including entering information into computerized patient care system. Maintains direct contact with patients of all ages except neonates, families, and visitors. The duties of this position require the exercise of courtesy and patience in speaking with patients, families, and others to maintain sound public relations.
Position Requirements />REQUIRED 1. High School diploma or equivalent and two (2) years experience in an occupation in a health care setting or an occupation requiring customer service skills. 2. Demonstrated ability to work independently. 3. Demonstrated Service excellence skills. 4. Good communications skills. 5. Certification in CPR once hired. 6. Ability to type. 7. Knowledge of PC Windows environment. 8. Basic knowledge of medical terminology. PREFERRED 1.
