We boldly go.Job Summary:Trane Technologies provides current college students with challenging assignments, leadership training, and valuable exposure to our company's leaders. As a Packaging Engineer Intern, you will be part of our Supply Quality Team and will have exposure to Distribution Operations, Quality, Supplier Quality, and Supply Chain Management. This role will support the data foundation around packaging weights and dimensions and will have exposure to packaging design for new product development and sustaining projects, with responsibilities for development of packaging components, compliance related activities, and distribution operations. The role is located in our Georgia Distribution Center, near Atlanta, GA.Responsibilities:Primary focus of this position is to support the distribution strategy and processing component packaging through our many systems.

Assist in the upload of packaging weights and dimensions into systems

Verify accuracy of data entered in systems via Layered Process Audits

Able to root cause packaging non-conformances and develop solutions with the team

Prepare data summary reports, and helping to summarize/draw conclusions from the data packaging documentation where needed

Willing to be mobile and relocate anywhere in the United States

Pursuing a BS/BA in Industrial Engineering, Packaging Engineering, Applied Science Engineering, Industrial Systems Engineering or Supply Chain Management with a cumulative overall GPA at or above 3.0

Minimum Work Experience: Junior year status – completed at least one previous internship or work experience

Demonstrated leadership skills such as: campus organizations, sports team captain, resident advisor, etc. or exceptional leadership of work projects

U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
