If you’re ready to start learning, growing, and making an impact with a career in fintech, we’d like to know: Are you FIS?About the TeamThe Fund Administration team is a growing, fast-paced business unit responsible for maintaining direct client relationships, as well as the day-to-day accounting and administration of closed-end funds managed by clients. What You Will Be DoingProcess shareholder activity within allocation tables and reconcile to the TA platformPrepare and reconcile cash and positions on a daily basis back to custodian, prime broker or third party.Prepare monthly GAV work paper package and perform all month-end reconciliations (including cash, positions, market price, market value, and accrued interest/dividends) to supporting schedules and Trial BalanceAssist with client onboarding which includes, but not limited to, loading of client's tax lots, cash balance and trial balance onto the accounting platformAssist in year-end audit by providing backup documentation for sampling selected by client's auditors.Prepare expense budget analysis and perform expense calculationsCalculate net assets for partnerships and unitized funds, allocate profit and loss to each investor including:Management feesIncentive fee calculationsCalculate and review fund returnsCoordinate the preparation and distribution of the investor capital statementProcess Investor and Shareholder ActivityPerform AML/KYC checks on investors following company procedures and client instructionsFacilitate transaction settlements and wire transfersPerform ad-hoc functions related to fund requirementsEnsure client month-end and reporting deliverables are satisfiedWork closely with clients to resolve inquiries and ensure client satisfaction.Work well in a team environment to achieve common goalsCross-train on other daily functionsWhat You BringBachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experienceTypically, at least 2 years' experience in middle office operations or fund accounting with hedge funds/hedge fund administration (HFA)Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, advanced Excel skillsWorking knowledge of securities and fixed income assetsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to multi-taskStrong verbal and written communication skillsAttention to detail and capable of taking initiativeAbility to work independently and meet deadlines without constant supervisionAdded Bonus If You HaveStructured products knowledge (Term Loans, Revolvers, Delayed Draws, ABS)What We Offer YouA career at FIS is more than just a job.
