Engineering Intern III

AECOM is seeking a highly motivated college student to join our transportation structures group in the Atlanta - Midtown office with the intent of extending a full time offer after graduation.This position is expected to begin in May 2025.Internships at AECOM offer students in undergraduate and graduate programs the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in engineering, design, and infrastructure projects that make a real-world impact. Projects are delivered using procedures typical to the Georgia Department of Transportation and local Georgia governments and municipalities.Bridge Deck DesignPSC beam designSubstructure designGeometry calculationsBridge Jacking designQuantity calculationsOther related design tasksThe responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Gathering, organizing, and analyzing field data under the supervision of an experienced team member to be used in the preparation of scientific reports.Preparing high-quality figures, data tables, and technical reports.Participating in site visits.  Develop knowledge of job-specific federal, state, and local laws and regulations and assigned job specifications. Attending meetings and preparing meeting minutes.
