Join our team!This position is located in our Buford, GA Office.Position Overview The Director of HR Operations is responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and programs that align with the company's goals, values, and commitment to provide a highly engaging and positive workplace culture. This role requires a strong background in human resources management, a proactive approach to employee engagement, and a commitment to promoting a safe and inclusive work environment. The Director of HR Operations will make an impact on the company through daily human resource activities, project execution, and implementation of HR initiatives and programs in a way that ensures departmental and organizational goals are accomplished.This position is located in our Buford, GA office. Responsibilities

Oversee HR Operations providing guidance, direction, coaching, and development to HR team members cultivating a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture.

Support the implementation of policies and procedures that support a safe and respectful working environment.

Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture by managing employee relations, conflict resolution, and promoting effective communication.

Partner with management to identify staffing and recruiting needs; collaborate with Talent Acquisition team in the planning and execution of best practices for hiring and talent management.

Collaborate with Training resources and management in the implementation of effective onboarding, training, and development programs to enhance employee skills and contribute to career growth and succession planning.

Facilitate the talent management process deployment including annual performance and talent reviews, workforce planning, development plans, learning & development opportunities, etc.

Participate in the administration of competitive benefits programs, including eligibility and participation, renewals and open enrollment, compliance with applicable laws and regulations, broker and carrier relationships, and reconciliation of monthly billing.

Act as primary point of contact for 401k administration (enrollment, rollovers, distributions, loans, education, and annual compliance requirements).

Effectively administer and manage leave programs ensuring compliance with applicable state, local, and federal requirements.

Collaborate with Payroll Manager to ensure consistent administration of pay programs and resolve payroll issues timely and accurately.

Partner with the Safety team to champion and ensure adherence to established safety protocols and initiatives.

Participate in the administration of the workers compensation program.

Ensure compliance with and adherence to all local, state, and federal laws for all aspects of human resources management; stays current on trends related to human resources.

Utilize HR metrics to inform decision-making and report on HR performance.

Ensure adherence to departmental budget.

All other projects or duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field plus 10 years relevant work experience including at least 3 years of management experience. HR certification is a plus. HR experience in a construction environment is a plus.

Experience in the administration of benefits/compensation programs.

In-depth knowledge of HR best practices and familiarity with COBRA, ERISA, FMLA, ADA and other related state and federal regulations. Multi-state HR experience required.

Must be able to display a high level of discretion and understand the sensitive nature of confidential employee information with superior emotional intelligence.

Demonstrated ability to provide value-added counsel and workable solutions to a wide range of employee relations issues

Microsoft Office proficiency, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Experience with HRIS, Payroll, and Applicant Tracking systems; ADP experience preferred

High level of detail orientation; ability to work quickly and accurately with complex data

Strong partnership and customer service orientation; exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to develop strong trusting relationships to gain support and achieve results.

Experience supporting initiatives and activities associated with organizational growth and restructuring.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively communicate across all levels and stakeholders of the organization. Excellent conflict resolution skills.

Critical thinker: outstanding judgment and decision-making abilities under ambiguous circumstances; ability to solve complex problems with a tactful and resourceful approach.

Superior project management skills and time management skills with the ability to work quickly and adapt to a rapidly changing environment and manage competing priorities

High level of integrity and experience in handling sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion

Ability to travel up to 30%
