The Product Experience Design & Digital Consulting Practic e within VCA provides consulting solutions and services for Visa’s clients  in Canada and US. We are genuinely passionate about digital analytics and push the boundaries on how we continuously reimagine our solutions for our clients.

The VCA team is looking for a Director of Artificial Intelligence Consulting to lead our AI consulting practice and drive high-impact projects for Visa’s clients in the NA region. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who seeks to innovate in this rapidly evolving space, and who can articulate and create impactful consulting offerings. 

You will be responsible for helping the broader team achieve its annual targets and for operational responsibilities (e.g., pipeline reporting, crafting client-facing collateral, writing proposals, and leading delivery teams). You have strong executive presence with clients, including senior leaders.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of AI consulting, with the ability to speak confidently with highly technical client teams and work in a broad array of data and IT systems to help solve client problems. Experience in both Generative and Predictive AI/Machine Learning consulting or product development is essential. 

Ultimately, the successful candidate will be a dynamic business leader with a passion for using Artificial Intelligence to solve a broad array of client challenges.

Essential Functions

Consultative Selling

    Uncover client needs, challenges, and opportunities with respect to AI strategy and implementation  services.

    Develop new and innovative AI offerings at a broad range of scales for our clients across North America.

    Present a combination of custom and scaled AI solutions  to clients that genuinely address their needs.

    Quantify the value and differentiation of the AI solution for clients.

    Define the AI value proposition and develop sales collateral, including sales presentations.

    Develop offering price/staffing strategy and ensure offering profitability.

Solution Delivery

    Strong project management skills. 

    Manage multiple client AI projects simultaneously while building new solutions for our practice.

    Ensure on-time completion of projects that deliver on our promise to clients

Customer Centricity

    Strong executive presence.

    Speak confidently to technical and non-technical aspects of AI solutions.

    Be comfortable working across the spectrum of Visa clients, from institutional banking relationships, merchants, acquirers, enablers  to fintech startups.

Industry Knowledge

    Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive environment for AI solutions and use that knowledge to articulate the differentiated value we offer.

Communications.

    Demonstrate executive presence in leading conversations with clients and internal senior leaders at Visa.

    Communicate across functional stakeholders (for varying levels and technical expertise).

    Incentivize cross-functional teamwork by aligning incentives.

    Possess strong diplomacy skills and foster goodwill between different groups.

People Leadership

    Demonstrate the ability to lead and motivate teams in a high-speed environment.This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
