- Ensuring data loaded into the warehouse is accurate
- Identifying potential data and report errors, and working with development to resolve
- Reviewing reports for data accuracy and functionality integrity versus requirements presented by end users, project management and product management
- Creating test plans for the software releases, defining resources, and testing suites required for each test cycle, dependencies, risks, and the overall strategy for testing complex systems and applications
- Performing all aspects of verification, including functional, structural, regression and system testing
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of experience in testing Data warehouse solutions
- Proficiency in SQL and relational database systems
- Python scripting experience
- Strong background in functional testing including designing and developing test strategy and test cases
- Ability to review technical requirements with data warehouse and business intelligence terminology to produce test strategies, test scenarios, and test cases
- Experience with Regression testing
- Ability to build and maintain a QA lab environment
- Extensive knowledge of testing process, testing methodology analysis and defect reporting tools
