We are seeking an Associate Project Director for Operations & Strategy who will oversee the day-to-day functions of the federal and private grants, including strategy development, tracking of deliverables, managing targeted and intensive technical assistance projects, and federal reporting.Minimum Qualifications Education:
Bachelor’s Degree is required from regionally accredited college or university.
Experience:
Minimum of two years related experience in project management.
Preferred Qualifications
Education:
Master’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., social sciences, natural sciences, public health, healthcare, etc.).
Experience:
Proven experience in research project management, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
Four years’ professional experience in federal and private grants related to behavioral health/ public health (intersection of disparities and health, behavioral health).
Experience supervising and helping develop project staff.
Familiarity with research ethics, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
Knowledge of funding opportunities and grant writing experience are desirable.

Provide comprehensive program management support, overseeing multiple programs, contracts, and budgets simultaneously, while effectively tracking and reporting on programmatic metrics and milestones.
Collaborate closely with interagency partners, response leadership, and potential user communities, effectively navigating workflows and fostering positive relationships to enhance program outcomes.
Develop and implement program plans and financial tools that facilitate accurate oversight, resource allocation, and adherence to contractual requirements across a diverse portfolio of projects.
Lead and manage the execution of complex research and development programs ensuring alignment with mission and goals.
Employ strong analytical skills to evaluate program plans, metrics, and outcomes, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies to maintain project alignment with mission objectives.
Collaborate with the Director on Strategic planning, budget development and management, resource allocation and budget monitoring.
Lead the collaborative writing, developing and implementation of communications plans, grant proposals and progress reports.
Complete project planning, implementation, management, and closeout activities.
Develop, implement, track, and report on project performance metrics and measures.
Develop strategies to achieve project goals and objectives.
Develop and formulate project budgets; prepared budgetary documents and reports; oversaw other budgetary data as required.
