LEASING AGENT
Rent Athens LLC is a local property management company specializing in the management of multi & single-family properties in the Athens and Oconee County area. Leasing Associates are the company’s front line of prospect and resident interaction and are expected to represent the Rent Athens brand with integrity and professionalism.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement daily leasing effort to ensure 100% occupancy
Deliver all lease documents and check for completion before sending to management for approval
Ensure all executed lease files and terms are entered into the property management software, website, and availability list correctly and timely.
Coordinate the collection of all supporting documents
Daily response and monitoring of all traffic including guest cards, walk-in, email & phone inquiries
Answer prospect or resident questions regarding available properties and the leasing procedure
Conducting scheduled property tours to leasing prospects
Updating property ads and pictures on all advertising outlets
Auditing and maintaining organization within the filing system
Assist management with market surveys and competitor leasing stats
Ensure the leasing is maintained in pristine condition
Assist in turnover of rental portfolio annually
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Bachelor’s degree from college or university
Must demonstrate literacy in the English language including reading.
Experience: One to two years related experience and/or training preferred.
Computer Skills: Working knowledge of; Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Excel, Property Management software
Certificates & Licenses: Valid State Issued Drivers’ License.
Other Requirements: Authorized to work in the United States, pass a background check and drug screening.
QUALIFICATIONS

Communication, Oral – Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisors, clients, and the general public.
Communication, Written – Ability to write reports and professional business correspondence.
Mathematical Skills - Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as prorates, percentages, and apply concepts of basic algebra.
Problem Solving – Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Technical Aptitude – Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Ability to complete assigned tasks fully strict deadlines imposed.
