Athens Driving Prep is an elite driving school which specializes in private in-car driving lessons for new drivers. Our clients are primarily teens, young adults, and international adults and we work within most of Oconee and Clarke counties. With distracted driving on the rise, it is imperative that our new drivers are given a solid and thorough driving education; we achieve this by using an in-car training curriculum, lesson plans, and detailed progress reports. We are proud of the exceptional results our students achieve and the positive impact we create in our community. This job is not for everyone; as a state-licensed driving instructor, you will be entirely responsible for the safety of yourself, your student, and the instructional car at all times.
- Part-time piecework to be paid $60 per two-hour lesson taught

Minimums:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education
- Need to have held a driver’s license for at least ten years and have an excellent DMV record with no at-fault accidents
- Prefer to have additional driving credentials such as Class A/B, E/F, M, extensive racing time, or EVOC
- Must pass national background/ fingerprint check and drug test
- Must pass state exam and be accepted as a licensed instructor by Regulatory Compliance division of the Georgia Department of Driver Services
- Should have some prior teaching or coaching experience, be able to stay calm and have patience, and enjoy working with teens and young adults
- There will be four unpaid hours of observation and up to twenty hours of paid training to be completed at $15/hour until certified
