A contemporary art gallery is seeking a skilled and charismatic sales professional to join our team at CONTEXT Art Miami, one of the premier contemporary art fairs during Miami Art Week. This temporary position offers a dynamic opportunity to represent our unique gallery and photographer in a high-energy sales environment.
Dates & Hours:
Tuesday, December 3: 4pm - 9pm
Wednesday, December 4: 11am - 7pm
Thursday, December 5: 11am - 7pm
Friday, December 6: 11am - 7pm
Saturday, December 7: 11am - 7pm
Sunday, December 8: 11am - 6pm
Key Responsibilities:
Engage visitors with enthusiasm, sharing passion for contemporary art
Build rapport and establish relationships with potential collectors
Present the gallery’s unique photography and sculpture work
Capture visitor information and maintain follow-up communication
Close sales through digital invoicing and payment methods
Achieve sales targets and work towards team goals
Qualifications:
Prior sales experience in an art fair, gallery, or similar sales environment
Strong relationship-building skills with a consultative approach to sales
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to excite and inspire potential collectors about art
Comfortable with digital invoicing systems and follow-up protocols
Multilingual fluency is a plus
Compensation:
Hourly pay plus commission on sales
Bonus opportunities if sales goals are achieved

Our contemporary photography gallery specializes in eye-catching, unique sculpture pieces. The booth will feature works from a single, highly celebrated photographer, ensuring a focused and engaging experience for visitors.
