We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Underwriter with extensive experience with subprime consumers to join our dynamic team!
Position: Underwriter
Location: Boca Raton, Florida
Job Type: Full Time
Salary: $52,000-$65,000 a year

Key Responsibilities:
Assess loan applications, including creditworthiness and risk factors.
Review documents to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Make informed decisions on loan approvals, declines, or counteroffers.
Collaborate with sales and finance teams to ensure smooth application processing.
Communicate with customers to gather additional information or clarify any discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records and reports of underwriting decisions.
Requirements:
Proven experience in underwriting subprime financial services whether it be auto or other financing.
Strong knowledge of subprime credit risk assessment, financial statements, and lending policies.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
