We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately processing payroll, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and maintaining accurate employee records.
Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for employees on a regular basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Analyze payroll data to identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors
- Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits to employees
- Maintain accurate employee records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status
- Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee information and resolve any payroll-related issues
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role
- Proficient in using Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Note: Prior experience in payroll processing is not required.
