About us
MCD is a small business that is contracted to do newspaper delivery in the Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, Lake Worth, and Boca Raton area. They are contracted to deliver Sun Sentinel papers and any papers that the Sun Sentinel in contracted with. MCD sub contracts to carriers to deliver these products.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all warehouse operations, receiving, and distribution
- Develop and implement efficient systems and processes to optimize warehouse operations. Monitor and analyze warehouse day to day and help identify areas for improvement
- Ensure accurate and timely job tasks (i.e. delivering by contracted deadline)
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Distributor and Carriers.
- Manage and train all incoming staff/carrier with the proper warehouse protocol and delivery procedures.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse management or operations management role (preferred)
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to run day to day operations in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to think on the fly
- Ability to adjust and address the team in a timely fashion.
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs and move pallets of newspapers around the warehouse.

Job Type: Full time contract
Pay: From $800-$1200 per week
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
11 pm until papers are delivered.

Delray Beach, FL 33445: Relocate before starting work (Required)
