Job Title: Maintenance and Housekeeping Technician
Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance and Housekeeping Technician is responsible for performing routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repairs on all mechanical systems and equipment within the building, both interior and exterior. Additionally, this role includes ensuring the cleanliness and neat appearance of assigned areas through housekeeping duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Preventative Maintenance & Repairs:
Perform routine and thorough maintenance and repairs on all mechanical systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
Ensure that all systems and equipment are functioning properly and safely according to operational standards.
Identify, address, and report any issues or malfunctions, even if outside the scope of usual responsibilities.
Housekeeping and Cleanliness:
Perform regular cleaning tasks to maintain a clean, neat, and organized environment in all assigned areas.
Sweep, mop, dust, and disinfect surfaces as required.
Maintain cleanliness of workspaces, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
Ensure that all areas are free of debris, garbage is properly disposed of, and supplies are stocked.
Problem Reporting:
Report any mechanical or cleanliness issues to the Maintenance Manager, even if outside the direct responsibilities of the role.
Team Collaboration:
Work as part of a team to ensure all areas are maintained efficiently and effectively.
Assist other team members with their tasks as required, contributing to a cooperative environment.
Adherence to Safety Standards:
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, ensuring the safety of both personnel and the building's infrastructure.
Additional Duties:
The duties and responsibilities of this position may be modified by the Maintenance Manager to meet the operational needs of the building.
