I am a 53-year-old woman with cerebral palsy who needs assistance with my activities of living (e.g., getting up and dressed, toileting, showering, cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc.). Sometimes I need help directly, other times I need help caring for my husband, stepson, service dog, or the family cats.

Pay: Earn $15-$18 hourly, based on experience and/or length of employment with us.
Hours: The job can easily fit into an existing schedule
There are multiple shifts available (Mondays-Fridays 5:30 AM-7:30 AM and 4 PM-6 PM, 9-11 PM Saturdays & Sundays 6:30 AM-8:30 AM and 1 PM-3 PM, 9 PM-11 PM)
Schedules developed based on individual needs and a qualified applicant's availability
Location: Conveniently located near Wellington Mall and public transportation
Responsibilities:
Assisting an individual with a disability with
Personal care activities (i.e., dressing, showering, transferring, daily hygiene);
Maintaining a home (i.e., running errands, cooking, doing laundry, caring for service animal and family cat, and cleaning); and
Accompanying on outings (i.e., shopping, appointments, meetings) and on some travel
Required qualifications:
Detail-oriented, punctual, reliable, and willing to go with the flow, especially in a busy household
Able to lift approximately 95 lbs., with no back issues
Comfortable with dogs and cats
Enjoy learning from others
