Well established, TAMPA, FLORIDA steel company in need of an experienced Fabricator to join their team.
Monday thru Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm (overtime available)
$17.00 to $19.00 per hour (overtime available)
Fabricator Responsibilities:
Layout and assembly of parts for columns and beams.
Ability to use tools such as jack bars, turnbuckles, pry bars, hammers or grinders.
Experience in aligning steel beams and/or columns perfectly.
Skilled infollow patterns and blueprints to create structures from raw metal.
Fabricator Skills Needed:
Blueprint reading skills.
Ability to read a tape measure.
Strong dexterity.
Mechanical skills.
In-depth math skills, including algebra, statistics, arithmetic and statistics.
Physical stamina.
The ability to differentiate different colors accurately.
Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time, bend, stoop, reach overhead, squat, kneel and lift to 50 pounds. Must be able to read, write and speak ENGLISH, to include written and verbal instructions.
