Alliance Fire & Safety, recently joined the Impact Fire Services team. As a subsidiary company of Impact Fire Services, Alliance Fire & Safety is a full-service provider and a leader in the fire and safety industry since 1992 covering the west coast of Florida.
Up to a $2,000 Sign-On-Bonus based on experience.
Position is located in Venice, Florida.
We are seeking a certified Fire Sprinkler Inspector with strong written and verbal communication skills to join our growing team. This position reports to the Senior Service Manager and is responsible for providing inspections to a variety of fire sprinkler system devices in a professional and timely manner. The Inspector will be expected to meet weekly service and productivity goals.
Job Responsibilities:
Testing and inspection of fire sprinkler systems, and preventive maintenance with knowledge of multiple manufacturers' products.
Provide accurate and detailed inspections reports with all proper documentation of improvements and deficiencies.
Responsible for operating with minimal supervision while performing fire protection inspections, testing, installing, services and preventative maintenance of life safety product lines
Inspect and service commercial fire sprinkler systems and associated equipment.
Job Requirements:
Strong working knowledge of life safety and NFPA codes (required)
State of Florida Water Based Inspector Permit
Backflow Certification
NICET II or greater in Testing of Water Based Systems
Working knowledge of sprinkler controls, alarm panels, devices and critical components
Willing to perform testing and maintenance
Ability to adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times
Able to complete documentation as necessary
Strong written and verbal skills
Excellent selling, communications, and customer service skills.
Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, AHJs Authorities Having Jurisdiction) and the general public
The ability to perform physical activities outlined in the accompanying physical requirements checklist.
Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements.
Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
