Grace Construction Group, Inc. (GCG) has a long history of quality commercial and residential remodeling in the Tampa Bay area. We're seeking construction professionals for multiple specialties. Drywallers, carpenters, finishers, laborers, etc.
Experience is helpful but not necessary. We will train the right individuals that have the right mindset and are a good fit for our culture.
Objectives:
- Participate in all aspects of construction projects from demolition to finish work.
- Utilize all resources to perform work efficiently
- Perform all work in a safe manner, following OSHA guidelines and GCG standards
- Function as part of a team and work closely and well with the rest of the team
- Maintain high standards and anticipate issues before they arise
Responsibilities:
- Complete tasks in a timely manner
- Clean work site at the end of each day
- Organize tools and work site in order to perform efficiently
- Load and unload materials, identify and distribute to appropriate locations
- Operate power tools and occasionally machinery
- Provide assistance to other trades as needed or directed by site supervisor
- Document daily progress
Required skills and qualifications:
- Documented ability to work legally in the United States
- Means of transportation to multiple job sites - sometimes in the same day
- Ability to perform strenuous physical labor
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Good interpersonal skills and an ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to change direction on the go
Preferred skills and qualifications:
- Experience in any construction specialty
- Familiarity with blueprints and ability to read them
