FORM / FRAME CARPENTER
Craftsmen Contractors is hiring Form / Frame Carpenters for the Tampa Area.
Mostly Metal Framing projects.
Job Duties:
Responsible for the installation of structures and fixtures, including windows and molding
Create a program/schedule for the use of materials and associated equipment for carpentry work if needed.
Take the measurement and cut materials to build forms for pouring concrete if needed.
Responsible for operating electrical, air-powered, and regular hand tools during projects
Responsible for carrying out general construction labor tasks
Provide support with fabrication during projects.
Experience with Metal Framing work. Very important.
Job Requirements:
Must be proficient in measuring and cutting, because the pre-made form sizes don’t always match the exact structure dimensions.
Must have at least 2 years of Form / Framing Carpentry experience.
Must have basic hand tools, ALL PPE (Hard Hat, Safety Vest / Shirt, Boots, Jeans) and reliable transportation to get to and from the job site.
Must have a working knowledge of the various methods used to assemble all major types of forms.
Must have a clean background.
