Building Maintenance Technician
Erwin Electric is seeking a versatile and reliable Building Maintenance Technician to manage and perform a variety of maintenance tasks for our commercial buildings and rental properties. This role involves general repairs, upkeep, and assistance with various duties as needed.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine and preventive maintenance for commercial buildings and rental properties.
Conduct general repairs including painting, drywall, light carpentry, and masonry.
Maintain shop areas, handle some landscaping, mowing, and sprinkler repairs.
Wash vehicles, sweep, mop, and assist with light delivery tasks.
Respond to various maintenance requests and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in building maintenance with skills in painting, drywall repair, carpentry, masonry, and general upkeep.
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, mowing, and using maintenance equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Reliable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to handle a variety of tasks and occasional overtime.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable working in various environments, including confined spaces and at heights.
Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as climbing ladders and working in varying temperatures.
Compensation
$19-$24 per hour
