Outside Pro Sales rep

USIG is a leading provider of high-quality flooring solutions, and we are looking for a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team in the Western Florida area. The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business, building strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets by promoting our wide range of flooring products and professional installation services to builders, contractors, designers, and residential clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Actively prospect for new business opportunities and generate leads through networking, cold calling, and market research.

Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.

Conduct on-site consultations to assess client needs, take accurate measurements, and provide expert advice on flooring materials and design.

Prepare and present professional sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients, effectively communicating the value of our products and services.

Collaborate with the internal team (project managers, installers, etc.) to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction from initial sale through final installation.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.

Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas and performance metrics.

Document all sales activities, customer interactions, and project details in our CRM system.

Qualifications:

Required:

o Proven experience (2+ years) in a commissioned outside sales role, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

o Strong knowledge of flooring products, installation processes, and the construction or home improvement industry.

o Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

o Self-motivated, with a high degree of initiative and the ability to work independently.

o Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

o Successful completion of a background check.

Preferred:

o Experience selling to builders, contractors, or designers.

o Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

o A degree in a related field is a plus, but not required.
