We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Warehouse Associate to join our client in a temp-to-hire role. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory control, shipping & receiving, and operating equipment such as drill presses and saws. This position is critical to ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and meeting customer demands. Previous forklift experience is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory counts, perform regular audits, and ensure materials are properly labeled and stored.
Shipping & Receiving: Unload and load shipments, inspect deliveries for accuracy, and prepare outgoing orders for shipping.
Equipment Operation: Safely operate drill presses, saws, and other tools to prepare materials as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Assist with general warehouse tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse is preferred.
Familiarity with inventory controls is a plus.
Proficiency in operating drill presses and saws is required.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Team player with strong communication skills.
