We are an older couple but not as “over-the-hill” as you might think. We want to spring clean the kitchen cupboards—remove the glassware and dishes, vacuum out the cupboards, clean the shelves, re-line the shelves and put everything back. It would involve using a step-stool (or whatever will get you up to the higher cupboard shelves.
We’re also trying to get the house better organized—we’ve emptied some closets and need to put some things back in such a way that we still know where everything is! It looks as if we have too much “stuff!”
Wife is getting shoulder surgery (torn rotator cuff) so we’d appreciate help after that (like loading and unloading dishwasher, loading and unloading washing machine and dryer, and general straightening out and organizing, as well as dusting and whatever else is needed. Must be pretty strong —‘housework’ kind of strong.
Husband is dealing with Cancer treatments and has good days and bad days; wife gets spinal treatments on a regular (every 3-4 months) basis, so we’d like someone who knows what needs to be done in general, without being told— A self-starter.
After the spring-cleaning we’d like help on a regular basis, like once a week or every other week, depending on YOUR schedule. Just help us stay organized, vacuumed and dusted. It would help if you’re an organizational-thinking person. We might want to rent out a room in our mother-in-law suite, but still need help setting that up.
Name your own hours and schedule. 3 -5 hours a a week or every other week. Whatever works for you. Not on Mondays, though.
