We are a local non profit cemetery in Largo. We are looking for part time help with the potential for picking up more hours as they open up.
The position includes a variety of tasks from watering the lawn and landscaping, to helping with burial setup and cleanup. Backhoe experience required. We expect all of our staff to help out where they can with whatever is needed. Any prior job experiences in Lawn Maintenance, Irrigation, Mechanical work is a plus. Must be able to work well with others and present yourself in a professional manor as you will be assisting with burials (digging the grave and setup) and working in front of the families.
Variety is a key element of this position. Some days you will be turning on sprinklers and taking trash to the dumpster, other days you will be assisting with the set up for a graveside service. Some days you will assist the office staff with marking and locating graves others you will install memorial markers. Versatility and willingness to pivot in a pinch are key to working with us.
Valid Florida Driver’s License required.
Background and drug test required.
Approx. 20 hours a week and some weekends (hours and days will vary depending on burial schedule)
