Job description:
We are seeking experienced Glaziers to join our team at Countryside Glass & Mirror. As a Glazier, you will be responsible for helping glazing projects for commercial buildings, ensuring that all work is completed on time, and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting glazing projects for commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Install storefront and curtainwall, YKK experience a plus
- Install glass
- Install pre-glazed panels
- Install glass doors, hardware
- Caulking frames and glass
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards (OSHA)
- Communicate with contractors and project managers to ensure project success
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in commercial glazing preferred
- Strong knowledge of glazing systems and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Ability to lead and manage a team
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work at heights
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards
- Ability to operate hand and power tools
Preferred Qualifications:
-Certifications OSHA 30, basic first aid, aerial lift, rough terrain forklift (classes available)
