Job Duties
Assist customers at our counter, building relationships with regular customers
Process customer transactions and collect payments using point-of-sale system
Create invoice in the point-of-sale system for each customer order and tag in each item of the order, noting any special instructions or issues discovered during the inspection
Examine incoming items, including:
Inspection for stains, damage and fabrics that require special care
Removal of objects from pockets, such as: ink pens, papers, money, etc.
Sort articles to be cleaned by fabric type, color and cleaning technique
Inspect cleaned items for quality and assemble orders for returning to customers
Resolve customer service situations at the counter and communicate any problems to store manager
Maintain an accurate cash drawer
Keep work area and store clean, tidy and organized
Other duties, as assigned
Requirements
Work Monday thru Friday 12/1:00PM - 7:00PM & Saturdays 9:00AM - 4:00PM
Must be flexible with scheduling hours
Exceptionally regular and reliable attendance
Professional demeanor, neat, and clean appearance
Accuracy and attention to detail
Organized and methodical approach to tasks and ability to work with little supervision
Positive attitude and willingness to assist in other areas when needed
Basic computer skills and knowledge of basic computer terminology
Ability to bend, twist, and stand for up to 8 hours to perform normal job functions
Ability to lift 30 lbs. independently
Retail or other face-to-face customer service experience a plus
You must have your own transportation and be able to drive on a moment's notice to a location (as needed) within 10 square miles of your stationed retail location.
