Subject: Seeking Support for My Federal Sentencing – September 25
Dear Prospective Supporter,
Though we may not know each other personally, I am reaching out with humility and hope to ask for your moral and emotional support during a very significant moment in my life—my upcoming federal sentencing hearing.
I truly believe that the human spirit connects us beyond blood or background. In times like these, simply being present—standing with another person in quiet solidarity—can have a powerful impact. Your presence in the courtroom would mean more than words can express.
To honor and compensate your time, I am offering:
$150 for 1.5 to 2 hours of your time
Any additional hour I will $75 per hour beyond that, if the hearing extends
However, I must stress that this is not a typical paid appearance. It is important that your presence is perceived by the court and the judge as genuine and heartfelt—as someone who is connected to me through shared humanity, not hired support.
Expectations and Requirements:
Punctuality is critical. The federal court begins promptly at 10:30 a.m. Late arrivals may reflect poorly and should be avoided.
Dress conservatively and professionally. This is a federal courtroom, and proper attire is required.
No cell phones, tablets, or recording devices are allowed in the courtroom—please leave these in your vehicle.
If asked why you are present, simply say:
“I’m here to support Nathaniel McKenzie.”
Before confirming your participation, I ask that you be open to a brief FaceTime or video call, just so we can connect and ensure that your presentation aligns with the courtroom setting.
Hearing Details:
Date: Wednesday, September 25
Time: 10:30 a.m.
Location:
801 North Florida Avenue
Tampa, Florida 33602
Courtroom of Judge Christopher Tuite
If you feel called to provide support—whether for compensation or simply out of compassion—I would be honored to have you present.
Thank you for considering this. Please reach out to me directly if you're interested or have any questions.
With appreciation,
Nathaniel McKenzie
